FORBES Magazine and Subscriptions
Erica gave me a FORBES magazine subscription for my birthday this year. She knows that I think subscriptions (magazines, special newsletters, Netflix, food, etc) are amazing birthday and Christmas gifts. You buy it once and the recipient is reminded of your affection every time the subscription material arrives.
Back to FORBES. I've been a fan of FORBES magazine for a few years, ever since I started my first business and I was looking for inspiration/tips on creating positive forward motion. They've always offered superb articles on businesses of all sizes and current politics.
Lately, and especially in the latest issue (Nov 16), they've had a ton of articles on technology. And not just "technology" in general, but relevant technology like the future of mobile or the latest push by big companies like Microsoft into the cloud computing arena. This latest issue felt more like Wired magazine than FORBES, which I'm completely okay with.
